🧧🌟Chinatown Day is around the corner and we are excited to celebrate with you!
Chinatown Day marks the historical moment where Montreal’s Chinatown was declared a historical site.
To celebrate this day, we will be having two lion dances from different family associations (Chan and Wong), workshops from PAQ on making dreamcatchers, the Kahéhtaien Lumb garden, and our family associations. Followed by a fireside chat with Sandy Yep from JIA Foundation with cantonese translation, two social justice walking tours (FR + ENG) from our Chinatown Youth and a food tour of undiscovered restaurants in Chinatown and around the city, hosted by Nirvana Tattoo.
There will also be participating organizations tabling that support the vibrant ecosystem of Chinatown.
